Form APCS
Please be
advised the Department has updated the vehicles on the Private
Passenger Auto
Premium Comparison Survey Form. The updated information should be
utilized when making filings with the Department on and after May 16,
2012. The APCS is to be attached to all
private passenger auto filings that affect rates. The completed
APCS
forms are displayed in the Department’s web site. Any
questions regarding
the APCS should be directed to alexa.grissom@arkansas.gov.

Department
Directive Effective
immediately SERFF filings containing multiple Types of Insurance (TOI),
commonly referred to as commercial package filings (for review
purposes), will
no longer be accepted. Such filings have
resulted in the approval of lines that are not in compliance with the
defense
outside the limits requirements or applicable exemption order
requirements. Refer to Directive
3-2011 for details.

ARRUA Assessment
ARRUA Annual Assessment Bulletin – Arkansas Code Annotated § 23-88-306(d), provides that members of the Arkansas Rural Risk Underwriting Association may be assessed an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) annually, if needed, for expenses of mailing volunteer fire department renewal subscription notices. AR166 REPORTS
AR166 reports (Ark. Code Ann. §§ 23-63-1201-1215) are due May 1, of every year for the prior years data. (Arkansas Code)
All reports are now filed online. The online version of the form may be found on the Department’s website. The reports are due no later than May 1st annually, unless the Commissioner has granted a time extension for good cause shown, after receiving such written requests from the insurer in advance of the May 1st annual deadline.
A worksheet is available to assist in collecting the information required by the online entry form. Further information on this change in reporting preferences may be viewed at this location.
