Burial Association Laws and Rules
During the 2023 AR Legislative Session, the AR State Legislature approved a bill to change the burial association reporting from two (2) semi-annual reports (a mid-year report of activity for January through June; a year-end report of activity for July through December) to one (1) annual report (report of activity for the full 12-month calendar year). Act 82 of 2023 (Senate Bill 99) became effective 07-31-2023.
The June (Mid-Year) Semi-Annual Report forms and December (Year-End) Semi-Annual Report forms are no longer in-use and have been removed from the Burial Associations’ web page. Below please find the UPDATED REPORT FORMS for filing the Burial Associations Annual Report.
The annual report forms that are in Excel spreadsheet format are in a prior version of Excel (.xls extension – 2003 through 2007 version) due to some B.A.s not having Excel 2010 or Office 365. This spreadsheet contains all of the various reports (Benefits Rendered, Benefits Paid, Benefits Owing, Benefits Charged Off, etc.) as separate worksheet tabs within the Excel workbook.
The annual report forms are also available in a Portable Display Format (PDF) that will have to be manually completed – it is not a “form filled” version and does not contain any of the embedded formulas/links that the Excel spreadsheet version contains.

Member Certification Statement requires the B.A. to report the count of “active” B.A. members for both the “Old” block and “New” block of business on the same form.
